EGYPT: In Solidarity.


Egyptian authorities are bracing themselves for another day of tension, with protestors promising huge rallies after Friday prayers.
 

Egyptian demonstrators pray in central Cairo during a protest to demand the ouster of President Hosni Mubarak and calling for reforms on January 25, 2011. Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Cairo, facing a massive police presence, to demand the ouster of President Hosni Mubarak in a protest inspired by Tunisia's popular uprising.

Seven people have died... thousands have been arrested... internet and mobile phone service has been shut down. Rallies are taking place in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto on Jan 28 & 29. Read more & sign the Canadian petition in solidarity with the people of Egypt.
