Les Puces

Upon arriving in Paris, I thought it would be fun to google 'flea market + Paris'... just to see what might come up. Sure enough, Paris is home to the largest antique market in the world! Les Puces de Saint-Ouen, known to most as Les Puces (The Fleas), receives between 120,000 to 180,000 visitors each weekend... that's nuts. For anyone who enjoys a good flea market, this one is a real gem. I had lots of fun wandering the very narrow winding alley ways and taking a few snaps when I felt it was appropriate. Having just arrived here, I wasn't too sure how the Parisians would respond to photos and was feeling a bit shy. I would ask as much as possible if it was ok to take a photo and usually the response was oui. One vendor even told me I sounded like Celine Dion... I wasn't sure whether to take that as a compliment or an insult.
